Exact guide on how we travel the world and work 👇
📍Battambang, Cambodia 🇰🇭
First we started saving while we were living back in the UK. We focussed on not wasting our money on silly things like new clothes or nights out and instead we started planning our trip.
Then we booked our trip: it really was that simple! We quit our UK jobs and changed to working online from our laptops.
The work that we do online we are very passionate about and that’s the only way we kept making it work.
Find something that you have knowledge about or feel passionate towards it and turn it into something that makes you money.
Then we landed in Indonesia and started enjoying moments like this everyday.

So here are 7 easy tips to save you money whilst travelling 📍Sapa, Vietnam Cook Our Meals: Eating out every meal can be expensive. Save money by shopping at supermarkets and cooking your own meals 🍔 Free Activities: There are so many free or low-cost activities and attractions, such as museums, parks, hiking trails, beach days and city walking tours 🏝️ Local Street Food: The local street food is both delicious and inexpensive. This is a great way to experience local cuisine without breaking the bank. Public Transportation: Use public transportation instead of taxis or rental cars. It’s usually cheaper and most cities are well connected 🚌 Use Local Currency: Pay in local currency to avoid poor exchange rates and extra fees and when taking cash out always decline the automatic conversion Water Bottle and Reusable Items: Carry a reusable water bottle and other reusable items to save on the cost of buying bottled water - these costs can soon add up Find the less touristy places for your trip: Finding small towns instead of the popular cities or destinations can be a great way to save money and see a more authentic way of life 🏠 We hope our tips can help you achieve your dreams of travelling. And that’s probably why travelling is so suited to us because everyday there’s a new adventure if you want it. Follow for more travel content 🗺️
Okay, maybe not never but we wouldn’t be excited Okay, maybe not never but we wouldn’t be excited to visit these places again, sorry! Let us explain why… Phuket - We visited in 2022 and were so surprised by how expensive everything was! The prices for meals were maybe 3 or 4 times what we would pay in other parts of Thailand and we worried so much about our budget we just couldn’t enjoy ourselves. Also the beaches were not that great and there are so many better destinations in Thailand. And we got stopped by the police and fined 😔 Batttambang - We stayed in Battambang for 2 nights and had some fun visiting the Bat caves, Temples and the wooden railtrack but otherwise there wasn’t much to do and we wouldn’t go back in a hurry! 🦇 Kuala Lumpur - We actually had a really good time in KL but we feel like it’s a place that we have ticked off but wouldn’t return to. It was sooo hot when we were there too which made it hard to enjoy 🥵 Would love to hear your destinations that you wouldn’t go back to, let us know in the comments. Follow for more travel content
