Vietnam is in Southeast Asia on the eastern edge of the peninsula known as Indochina. Its neighbours include China to the north and Laos and Cambodia to the west. The country stretches a long way from the North to South with the capital Hanoi in the North and Ho Chi Minh (Saigon) in the South.

Vietnam is known for its capital Hanoi which has an interesting history shown through the Old Quarter. Plus the bustling business centre of Ho Chi Minh in the South with a lot of recent history to learn in the Ho Chi Minh Museum or Cu Chi Tunnels. In the centre there is Hoi An which is a beautiful UNESCO World heritage site and a perfect example of an ancient port town. The culture and food are well worth immersing yourself in to truly understand the Vietnamese people and their country.
